To start autoblogging is not a hard task, though there are some crucial steps you should complete. If you have ever set up a website based on WordPress and a niche you should follow those steps, however there are some things that must be done differently. In this post I would like to show you the steps to start autoblogging.
This is the most important step. You should find a niche that is searched well, the competition is low, already has enough content to get to us eon your autoblog and easy to be monetized via affiliate marketing or PPC ads. Now let’s go deeper to the points.
You have to work with a niche that brings you enough traffic so simply the people are interested in.
To start autoblogging effectively the chosen niche must be not a wide and an over promoted niche. I mean, if you choose one which is extremely popular among the internet marketers and tens of million sites are built and optimized for it, you will not have a chance to get traffic and beat the big sites. Try to find untapped or very new niches that have low competition.
If you find the niche to work with, you will have to find the related keywords. This is important since these keywords will be used to get content and with that they will be found in the content which is important for SEO. If you choose short keywords you will have more content, but the relevance of the generated posts will be lower which is bad for SEO. If you use longer keyword phrases – long tail keywords – you may have less content, but the created posts will be much more relevant to the topic of the website and this is really good for SEO.
After installing WordPress and some useful plugins that are used for SEO etc. the next step is to install the WordPress autoblog plugin you want to use. I suggest you to use a WordPress autoblog plugin which lets you to add as many type of content as possible such as videos, articles, products etc. and lets you to combine those. The more type of content you mix, the more unique content will be generated. You should never forget this whenever you start autoblogging.
Fortunately, there are many type of autoblogging software which lets you to combine even +20 types of content.
There are many ways to monetize your autoblog. You can add PPC ads such as Google Adsense or you can use the built in features of the WordPress autoblog plugins that add product reviews such as the Amazon, Ebay, CJ, Clickbank etc and automatically adds your affiliate links. But I think monetizing is the easiest step.
Once you set up your autoblog and it generates content automatically you have to promote it. You should build backlink pointing to it from as many resources as possible such as articles marketing, WEB 2.0 sites etc., but we must not forget about the social networking sites like Twitter and Youtube which are very powerful to get targeted traffic.
